When Exam Papers Have a Personality of Their Own

At Golden Sparrow, sometimes our exam papers come with a little… extra. 😄

And, occasionally:

“Ma’am, please give me some marks for this!” 😂

A thank-you note.

A doodle.

A joke.

A random thought.

We’ve received our fair share of these little surprises—and honestly, some deserve marks for creativity alone!

But behind the laughter is something we value deeply.

Our Sparrows feel free to express themselves.

Even during an exam.

Because assessment, for us, isn’t only about checking what a Sparrow remembers. It’s also about seeing how they think, communicate, question, and make sense of the world.

Sometimes, the most memorable part of an answer sheet isn’t the answer.

It’s the personality that sneaks onto the page.

A quirky observation.

An unexpected perspective.

A doodle that has absolutely nothing to do with the question! 😄

And we love it.

We want Sparrows who think independently, express confidently, and aren’t afraid to have a voice of their own.

So yes, assessments matter.

But so does the freedom to be you.

And if that occasionally means finding a cheeky note in an exam paper?

We’ll happily take that little bonus. 💛
